INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES   
I am currently a member of the Simon Fraser University, and Coquitlam Cheetah Track and Field Teams. I compete in Triple and Long Jump, and also the 110m hurdles. Between the years of 1994 and 1998, I represented British Columbia at the Canadian Nationals.
 
I enjoy coaching and working with people. I currently volunteer at local junior development (ages 9-12) track and field meets as an official or timer. I will coach these ages starting in the spring of 2001.

I was the sweeper for the U-17 British Columbia Soccer team at the Snickers Cup Canadian National Championships in Saskatoon.

I have been involved in the Communications Student Society within Simon Fraser University.

Responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons in both fields ranging from sophomore to senior classes. Served as assistant coach for varsity track and cross- country teams. Gained valuable experience working with students of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Supervised and instructed students in a variety of activities emphasizing: cooperation, teamwork, and leadership. These students included ESL, special needs, and low-income children.
